Why do your prices not compare to other photographers?

Weddings can be the single most expensive event of your life, so we believe in providing the best service and the finest quality to our clients for the lowest fee. Breaking your budget is not our goal.

How do we book with you?

You can contact us and we can arrange a time to meet to explore your photography needs.

Colour or black and white, how is that decided?

Some photos work equally as well in colour and black and white. The photographer will provide a varity of colour and black and white photos. Based on the composition and story being told by the photo, the photographer may decide to take the picture in colour, in black and white, or in both.

How many photos do you take?

With one photographer, around 1000+ images on average are usually taken. Smaller events are a bit less and larger events are a bit more.

When are the formal photos taken?

Ultimately it is up to you when and where you would like them, general they happen at a park soon after the ceremony. Photos of large groups (family) or with grandparents are taken first, then a small group of just the bridal party, followed by an intimate shoot with the bride and groom alone. There is usually plenty of time remaining after to do candid or posed photos with other friends and family.

Do you carry backup equipment?

Yes. Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime occasion and backup equipment is always brought along to ensure your day is fully documented.

What type of photography do you offer?

We offer both creative and photojournalistic styles of photography to ensure the full atmosphere of your wedding day is captured.

How many photographers are usually at the wedding? Is there an extra fee for a additional photographer?

Our wedding packages include two photographers, if available, and there is no extra fee associated with this.

Who will be the photographer at the wedding?

The photographer you meet to book your wedding day with will be the primary photographer that will be at the wedding.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A deposit is required in order to reserve the date on our calendar and to book your event with us. Deposit amount is 1/3 of the total package price after tax. Contact our office for any questions about our payment structure.

Do we have to provide the photographer with a plate at the reception?

This is a decision between you and the photographer and is not something that you are required or expected to do, however please clarify your intentions with the photographer at the time of booking so they can make arrangements if needed. We do ask that if you choose to provide the photographer with a plate at the reception that it be at a table with a good line of sight of the bride and groom. We would not want to be interrupting your guests in order to capture a specific moment of your wedding.

How long of a break does the photographer take during the wedding (ceremony, park, and reception)?

A wedding is a one time event and we are dedicated to capturing it, therefore we do not have scheduled breaks, however we go with the flow of the wedding and take our break when appropriate.

Where can we see samples of your work?

You can view samples of our work in our online portfolio or our sample album on the pricing page. We specialize in wedding photography; however we also offer a variety of styles to suit all of your event needs, such as: engagements, rock the dress, portraits, maternity, and boudoir. If you don't see what you are looking for on the portolio page or in the same album, contact us for additional online samples or set up a time to meet with one of our photographers.

Do you charge a travel fee?

We do not charge a travel fee if the wedding is located in Southwesten Ontario or the GTA. For additional information on this, please contact us to see if this applies to your area.

What equipment do you use?

We use only high resolution professional digital cameras and lighting equipment in order to ensure you receive the highest quality photos.

Do you customize packages?

Yes. We can prepare a package to best suit your needs. Please contact us to determine what type of customization would be best.
